The CFC-FFL Echo Conference last year was an uplifting moment for me and I’m so glad that we’re able to share that experience with our brothers and sisters. As a servant leader, I’m constantly learning more about the direction of the community in connection with the bigger evangelization work of the Church and being able to listen to well-spoken and inspirational speakers was indeed a blessing to us all.

As Holy Warriors, we need to be champions of the Catholic faith. It entails a huge degree of boldness and humility. Truth is, we need more workers in the Lord’s vineyard most especially here in New Zealand. And if we thought that what we’re doing at the moment is enough, well that mentality simply limits us. At this point, we need everybody! We are called to ignite new relationships and admit that we don’t know everything. We need to work alongside others for there’s always something we can learn from each other. As members of CFC-FFL, we got to stick together if we want to continue impacting lives around us. Knowing that our mission is to connect people through love, makes it matter even more.

What binds us together is the love of God. It gives us an opportunity to connect and build strong relationships with our brethren and our shared faith experiences can bring us closer together as a family. We need to be ready to experience God’s mercy because all of us are being called to mission.

We should expect more because great things are bound to happen. Let us respond to the needs of the world by saying “yes” as a community. We just have to believe that it’s all possible because Jesus accompanies us and He will make that happen!

Everyday there are more reasons to love God and share the faith – just something to remind us all.

God’s Holy Warrior,

Maria
